ubuntu or kubuntu

how to create this file and move with terminal command....

example:
zul@zul-laptop:~$ locate python > pythonlist.txt
zul@zul-laptop:~$ cat pythonlist.txt
zul@zul-laptop:~$ ls /bin > pythonlist.txt
